Larger than Life..

Hello friends!

I’m sorry I’ve been so sparse with the posts lately… I’ve been busy adding to my photographic knowledge by taking an ‘Lighting on Location’ intensive through the summer.. called up the Academy of Art “umm… I’m not a student with you but I’m a freelance photographer and I saw this class I just fell in love with…” One portfolio review later and I was in! I’m heading out on location again tomorrow, so it is bedtime for me, this will have to be quick, but just wanted to check in and say I have not given up on nor forgotten my blog.. but between doing work, learning in the class, and trying to have a social life too the blog got left behind a bit.. today I’ll share with you my photograph from my first assignment for the class, which was to photograph a favorite object. I chose this Breyer horse from my childhood that I recently found.. I wanted to transmit to the viewer that sense of being larger than life, and the wonder and awe I felt looking at this toy… Lots going on so lots to share, I hope I get to later this week! Until then my friends xx
