Hello all! I am writing this foggy Friday morning from a studio in Greenwich, where I am shooting a look book for Sleek make-up. The studio space is great, and we are just setting up now… I’ll update this post as time allows today. The models are still arriving and the mood boards are being sized up by the make-up artists. It’s some exciting stuff.. as that I often am doing more live, documentary style work with ambient light, this is a fun change of pace. Wish me luck! (ps – photos just snapped on PhotoBooth)
So a bit of a slow start… some of the models got lost on the way to the shoot (fair enough – it wasn’t the easiest to locate) and a minor hiccup in understanding of contractual use but now we have been up and running for a while now, getting into a good groove. This is really fun! The subtlety of the lighting is really starting to show its face for me and I am exponentially liking the quality of the light in my shots as the day goes on. The two brothers that run this place are super lovely!!!! So having them here has been a great new meeting as well.
One of the lighting schemes:
Switched to 3-point lighting… now lunch time, woo! (2:38)
I’m whizzing through so many eras my head is spinning!!!! … 30 seconds down… hairspray in.. next! (4:40)
60s is next… ooo this one will be fun 🙂
